Walking Tour of Nice's Cours Saleya Flower Market

From Kelby Carr, for About.com

The fruits of your labors

This has been a busy morning. Now it's time for a true reward. Take a rest at one of the many restaurants and cafés along the Cours Saleya. It's no surprise there are numerous restaurants specializing in seafood. There are also several spots featuring native Niçois cuisine (be sure to try ravioli daube, a divine dish featuring ravioli in beef stew). There are a few great spots for sipping a coffee or a glass of wine. Or, if you really lack creativity, you can visit the small McDonald's along the Cours Saleya. (But please don't). You may even want to return at night, as this is a popular after-dark spot. Thor is a fun nightclub, Les Trois Diables is a cool piano bar and, if you're really feeling naughty, the Charlotte Bar is a well-known strip club.
