Paris to Blois by Train

Trains to Blois leave from Gare d'Austerlitz in Paris (85 quai Austerlitz, Paris 13th arrondissement) all through the day. Trains go either directly to Blois taking 1 hr 22 minutes, or you can change at Orleans which makes the journey around 1 hr 45 minutes. The cost is from 55 euros round trip.

Blois to the Chateaus of Chamord, Cheverny and Beauregard by bus
TLC (Transports Loir-et-Cher) runs a round-trip summer tourist service between the chateaus of Blois, Chambord, Cheverny and Beauregard. If you take this, you also get a reduced entry price into each chateau of between 1 and 2.50 euros depending on the chateau. Buses run from Blois railway station at 9.25 and 11.28am and from those destinations back to Blois. The last bus from Beauregard (the furthest chateau) is at 6.23pm.

  • By bus/coach Eurolines offers a cheap service from London, Gillingham, Canterbury, Folkestone and Dover to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris Gallieni. Six coaches a day; 2 overnight; journey time is 7 hours. The Eurolines stop is at the Paris Gallieni Coach Station, 28 ave du General de Gaulle, just by the Gallieni metro station near the Porte de Bagnolet (Metro line 3, final stop).
