From , former About.com Guide

Toulouse hotels feature a wide mix of lodging styles, including some fine four-star hotel as well as some wonderful bargains. Get more bang for your buck by staying outside Toulouse’s city line.

1. Hotel Palladia Toulouse

Hotel Palladia has all the little extras one might expect from a four-star hotel: wi-fi access, a free airport shuttle, a fine restaurant and beautiful rooms. You will pay the premium, however.

2. Hotel des Capitouls in Toulouse

Hotel des Capitouls is all about the atmosphere. There is the location, deep inside old Toulouse. It’s about the colors, deep reds and earth tones like chocolate brown. Cordless phones are available for each room, and suites have CD players with a selection of music. This is also a four-star hotel. It is not as pricy at the Palladia (below), and is also more of a value for the money. The hotel’s restaurant across the street, Le 19, is a bonus.

3. Hotel Athenee in Toulouse

4. Hotel Jean Mermoz in Toulouse

5. La Bombardière Chez Alain

La Bombardière Chez AlainLa Bombardière Chez Alain
La Bombardière Chez Alain is located in Cuq-Toulza about a half-hour drive to Toulouse, but is worth a stay for the meal alone. The ten rooms are merely so-so in appearance, but they are roomy and a bargain starting at 50 euros nightly. The sitting area between floors has decor with a very Goodwill feel to it. But the view to the side of the hotel is a farmhouse and the restaurant’s terrace is quite attractive. If you stay, be sure to get the daily special for dinner, even though it will likely cost you as much as the room.
