Gracious and comfortable
There are 35 rooms in the main building and another 21 in the Manoir, one of the buildings on the far side of the courtyard. All are spacious and have exposed honey-colored stone walls, old wooden beams and a mix of comfortable furniture, including some magnificent antique cupboards. A touch of 18th-century glamor is provided by beds with half testers and luxurious, deep colored furnishings. This is history with comfort.
Like many hotels in France, it’s privately owned by a local family who have lived here for generations. Currently they are planning a spa and pool, but for the moment what awaits you is a place to relax with the sound of birdsong in your ears and the odd owl hooting as you fall asleep.
