Christmas Lights in Montbeliard, France-Comte

Many cities light up with shows that transform the streets and houses, parks and squares into magical places to visit. Here are just a few of them

  • Colmar, Alsace
  • November 25th to January 2nd, 2011

During the day the streets are beautifully lit and the scent of oranges and cinnamon fill the air. There’s a nightly light show that brings the architectural richness of the city from the Middle Ages to the 19th century to life.

It’s the 24th year that Montbeliard in France-Comte has lit up its streets. This year there’s a Louisana theme, so expect cast iron balconies like New Orleans, alligators, Tom Sawyer and plenty of American treats to buy at the Christmas market.
