Paris' Bois de Bologne Campground
Submitted by Robert Coombs
Camping in France is certainly a great experience. We recently spent six weeks traveling in Italy and France, spending three weeks in Italy and three weeks in France. I can highly recommend the Bois De Bologne caravan park and campground in Paris, It certainly is so accessible to all the points of interest in Paris. I have stayed in this caravan park on 5 different visits since 1978 and it still is the most fabulous place to stay.
Other camps I have stayed at in France and can highly recommend include the municipal camp at Capestang which is adjascent to the Midi Canal, the Pont De Limuel at Limuel alongside the river is just fantastic, the municipal camp at Moissac on the River Tarn is a dream and the camping ground at St Emilion is also a wonderful experience. We have hired a motor home or camping car as they call it in France and for our five trips in Europe, have always done our own thing, shopping at the supermarkets and local markets and just enjoy it so much. We returned home on June the 16th saying it was our last time but are already thinking maybe just one more time.
