Arc de Triomphe Getting a Face Lift/Will Be Closed to Tourists

The bold Paris Arc de Triomphe is getting its first renovations since it was first erected nearly 170 years ago, according to the Telegraph U.K.. This will result in the popular attraction being closed for much of December, and it will be surrounded by scaffolding for most of the 18 months the work is under way.
