France Today Magazine Goes Glossy

Monday September 11, 2006

France Today: The Journal of French Travel and Culture, one of my favorite magazines on France and featured on my list of Top Magazines on Travel, France and Francophiles, switched from a newsletter format to a glossy magazine format during a recent redesign. They also revamped the France Today Web site.

"The magazine is now reaching out to a broader demographic such as younger travelers who have the Eiffel Tower under their belt and the standard ‘must-see’ French attractions and are now looking for an insider’s perspective—what the French are thinking and reading, the movies they’re seeing, where they eat and drink, as well as off-the-beaten-track treasures to visit across the country," editor-in-chief Anne Senges said of the redesign.
