Tour de France 2006 Stage 5 - Beauvais to Caen

Thursday July 6, 2006
Today's route begins in lovely Beauvais, which features the unique Cathedrale Saint Pierre and its pre-Gothic Carolingian architecture. It also features a fascinating astrological clock, and the town has a stunning Renaissance chateau. The day's racing ends at the beautiful port city of Caen, is close to the English channel. It features abbeys, a chateau and ramparts.
