Tour de France 2005 Daily Blog - Stage Eleven

The starting city of Courchevel is in the epicenter of the world's largest skiiing area. The race heads to Briançon, an enchanting medieval village overlooking five valleys. It is a fine stop for skiers, mountain climbers, bikers and kayakers.

Lance Armstrong held onto the yellow jersey after a grueling Alpine mountain stage today. Mickael Rasmussen is nipping his heels in second place.
