Paris Loses 2012 Olympic Bid to London

The International Olympic Committee in Singapore just announced that London is chosen to host the 2012 Olympics, a tremendous blow to Paris. The French could have really used the boost, especially after voting down the EU Constitution and as it currently struggles with high unemployment rates. You can still plan to visit Paris if you go to the London Olympics, however, since you can now Speed Between London and Paris in 2.5 Hours. Desolée, Paris!
