Tour de France 2005 Daily Blog - Stage Three

The race begins in La Châtaigneraie, a string of 19 communities rich in both historical attractions and outdoor activities. The stage ends in glorious Tours, a great central point for visiting the Loire Valley Chateaux. Tours features an amazing 30 street markets, including those devoted to produce, crafts, gourmet items, antiques and flowers.
Results and standings
Belgian Tom Boonen wowed the tour with his second straight win, and Dave Zabriskie will wear the yellow jersey for the third day in a row tomorrow. Robbie McEwen lost his third place status and was bumped to dead last after it was determined he hindered.
