Cannes Film Festival - Opening Day Report

The rainy weather and dark skies couldn't possibly dampen enthusiasm for the start of the Cannes Film Festival. It's just about to get under way with at 7 pm. local time, 1 p.m. EST, with the showing of "Bad Education," or "La Mala Educacion," directed by Pedro Almodovar will start. This marks the first time the festival has opened with a Spanish film.
