One of my alert readers, Ken, pointed out that my article, Packing Oh So Light, (which mentions bringing euros on your trip) should make a few more points about getting cash in France. For instance, your best exchange rate will probably be had by using an ATM overseas instead of changing cash at your home bank. I still urge everyone to go to France with a few euros in their wallets, but I've added this list: Getting Euros In France - DOs and DON'Ts.
